I am a 5th generation family farmer from West-Central Minnesota. The recent interest in food, combined with a large amount of 'misinformation' has driven me to start this channel. I hope to be someone people can relate to and trust when they question how their food is grown and raised. I also hope to become a 'smarter' farmer through my experiences with this channel. I strongly believe we must have an open mind and a willingness to learn about others, or we cannot move forward as one. My goal is to build the connection between farmers and consumers by facilitating a collaborative conversation amongst everyone. I do this by sharing my day-to-day farming experiences, my opinions on certain topics, and occasionally visiting other farms and businesses to help better understand other farming and business practices. There is no limit to where this channel may go, so please join me!!

The skid steer horizontal brush hog will mulch a 8" tree stem. Great to reclaim old farm land and building lots. We stockpile tree limbs with 3' x 150" fur/hemlock for replanting. A 30-40 YEAR cycle. Cedar blocks straight grain is $2100 per cord. Curious about leveling machines and rock picking? Curious about moisture non irrigation historical record?
Curious equipment storage versus vehicles storage?
Not a farmer. Are radishes good pheasant food? Are they good deer food? I know you guys are obsessed with corn and soybeans, but do you think you could do more to produce more deer and pheasants. I think you have they deer and pheasant food problem pretty well solved.
My cousins boss owned a mower like that would you like to tell me what started you bought that in because I am curious about if I have been around that mower before.
AAAAAAAWWWWWW.
What tractor is that?
Tall 'grass' and 'weed'? My neighbor's grew 'weed', the State of Washington gave them a license to grow it, the County of Walla Walla said they weren't allowed to grow it. $45,000 in County Fine's and $30,000 in attorney fee's later and their farm is up for sale. The County of Walla Walla state of Washington is going after me for tall 'grass' and 'weed's', anything that isn't a growing crop or a tree. $250.00 a month fine's, soon to be $250.00 every 2 weeks and then to $250.00 per day. My neighbor's on both side's of me are being paid to grow tall grass and weed's for animal habitat (under the U.S. department of Agriculture program) on both side's of me and on both side's of Coppei Creek in wide strip's and my narrow strip's along the Creek and my drainage ditch I am being fined for it. The State highway department has tall grass and weed's on it's property, the county of Walla Walla has tall grass and weed's on their property, the three railroad's in the county all have really tall grass and weed's on their property and the county code compliance officer refuses to go after them. She say's I have to keep all tall grass and weed's below a foot tall including straight up and down 30 ft. tall Creek bank's a half mile long. She also claim's I have to get all water tank's, fuel tank's, fertilizer tank's, irrigation pipe, railroad ties and treated poles (used for fencing), four railroad boxcar's (sitting on the ground and used for storage shed's with irrigation sprinkler's and pumps, combine part's, hydraulic part's, tires, etc. Stored in them) and ( the county claim's the boxcar storage building's that have been there for almost 40!year's) are inoperable vehicles and it all must go from off the farm. Highway 12 literer's also make me in violation of the code against junk and debris and I am almost continually picking up people's liter. I haven't found time to use my boat's which are also in violation because I don't have time to move them off the property and then back on every 60 day's. Any pickup or truck with a dead battery they call a junk (inoperable) vehicle. The county deputy prosecuting attorney (who's signature is also on the county code) claim's that the State of Washington may acknowledge farm exempt license's on pickup's, truck's and trailer's but he say's that the county doesn't have to acknowledge them and therefore must be removed from the farm for me to be in compliance and stop the $250.00 fine's. Up the Creek from me, a little below the farm for sale that grew 'weed' there was a music festival with a plethora of band's performing over a weekend with wine, beer and 'weed' and only GOD know's what else and the county said that the California Wine business that put on the music festival (Sodomite, wino, stoned orgy) didn't even need a permit. Did I forget to explain that Walla Walla Mayor Barbara Clark declaired the month of June LGBT pride month and in June 2019 they had their first gay pride parade, Sodomite wine event's, Sodomite beer event's and Sodomite children's event's and the Seventhday Adventist Walla Walla Universities multicolored web page explain's all about their new office of diversity and inclusion which will allow transvestite's (men who feel like women) to bunk in the girl's dorn on a case by case basis. Did I also mention that the Walla Walla valley also sport's over 140+ wineries, also breweries, and marijuana 'weed' store's and a gonorrhea epidemic effecting the eye's, tongue's and rectum's with only one drug out of three still working. My shop burned down with most of my tool that I could build or repair most anything (no insurance), my mother's house was flooded by a roofer (and by GOD or the 😈, $120,000.00 minimum damage and the roofer's insurance will only pay $19,000.00 and our insurance will pay $0.00 and we got a cancelation notice). My 91 year old mother broke her wrist, sprained he ankle, broke her back down low, broke her back up high, was dropped on her head in the the emergency room of the hospital by their medical staff who fitted her with a neck apparatice, observed her for over the next 4 day's, refused to re- Xray her neck or do an MRI after they dropped her on her head, never admitted her to their hospital (the one treating the gonorrhea epidemic) and want's a 91 year old almost totally blind woman with a broken back who couldn't lift her arm's or feed herself after being dropped on her head and had to be feed by the hospital staff and the Hospital's management and in hospital doctor's want her and her son (me) to pay $2,056.00 or more per day instead of Medicare and her supplement insurance and then they booted us out of the hospital claiming that there is nothing wrong with her neck. While looking after my 91 year old mother 24-7 my house on the farm was robbed 40 thousand plus dollar's in damaged and stolen items. The security cameras. One died a few days before the burglary according to the sheriffs deputy and the other according to the sheriffs deputy got footage of just before the burglary and of the deputy and I walking around in front of the camera after the burglary but somehow didn't get the possibly two vehicles and the thrieves. Even my moose abandoned me last winter, see YouTube video, Hungry Friendly Moose. I also can't find an attorney willing to help us. I have called a whole bunch of them and we basically had to almost beg the seed company to take our garbanzo beans in order to stop the storage bill from eating up the entire crop. Some of it could go as low as 6 cents a pound or as high as 14.5 cent's less over 1 year's storage (a lot of the time they just aren't buying and then there's dockage. My only conciliation is that someone out there has it worse than us (maybe) and my dirt nap isn't quite as far off as it was yesterday.
@Random Guy 'NO!' Is this the shortest?
Congrats, this is the longest YT comment I’ve ever seen... is it a copy pasta?

What is the flag for that is behind you in this video?
I remember not that long ago we had a feed store in our town, Yoakum Gin and Feed. They had a corn mill that was used to make fresh corn meal. Mr. Tommy owned the company and had a corn meal grinder in his store. It had two round stones that ground human quality corn into corn meal. He would sell it for about .30 cents a pound. When I got back to my home town I would stop and get about 25-30lbs of fresh ground corn meal. It was course ground and very moist. It sure made some great home made corn bread.
Since then Mr. Tommy passed away and the business turned into a modern farm & ranch store.
I often wonder where is there a gin that you could buy freshly ground corn meal.
I love to be picked up from school in a tractor. I bet when she is old enough she will be helping you run the farm with you.
